ONE DIRECTION'S NEW SINGLE “LITTLE THINGS” IS HERE!

One Direction have released their new song “Little Things”!
They posted the lyric video on their official VEVO account this morning, and the song is definitely a surprise, just like the lads promised.
This is one of the songs that Ed Sheeran wrote for the group that's going to be on on Take Me Home.

D.I.Y.: CHIC BRAIDED HEADBANDS

If you're bored, have some plain headbands, and have some fabric scraps lying around, here's something to do - D.I.Y. a cool headband!

You need: a plain plastic headband, fabric, scissors, and hot glue or craft glue.

Here's what you do: 

1. Cut your fabric into long strips. You could even use an old T-shirt if you want. 

2. Add glue to the headband, then start wrapping the fabric strips around it. Just work from one end to the other.  

3. While this is drying, take three strips of fabric and braid them together, starting off and finishing with a knot.

4. Glue the braid to the fabric-wrapped headband carefully.

5. Let it dry, and then wear your chic new headband!

If you don't have a headband, you can just make the braid from fabric strips and then sew the ends together.

BRIDGIT MENDLER TALKS ABOUT HER NEW ALBUM

Bridgit Mendler just released her first album Hello My Name Is..., and its been a success so far!
She sat down with Teen Vogue and talked about her music career. Here's what she had to say.
About her style of music: “It's pop music with a little bit of jazzy, R&B influence.”
About what her inspiration was for her album: “I like telling stories, and I focused on making an array of songs that reflect that. The stories aren't necessarily based off of my life—they're also about the lives of my friends. That's why the album is called Hello My Name Is... It's an introduction."

About her favorite song on her album: “Hurricane.' It's a rollercoaster love story, and I love the way the story is told."
About her current favorite music: “I like listening to Frank Ocean and Ed Sheeran—those are my two newbies. And I have to admit, I'm a little hooked on the new Ke$ha and Ellie Goulding singles."
About whether or not she'll go on tour: "I hope so! It really depends on how people respond to the music. I'm hoping that fans like it and can relate to it, and it's something that I'll be able to share."

One Direction spent the week slowly revealing their individual album covers for Take Me Home on twitter.

The covers feature each of the guys posing for the camera. They look so hot!
In related One Direction news, they were just crowned the Best UK/Ireland Act for the MTV Europe Music Awards!!

They've also been spotted going in and out of their recording studio in London, so it looks like they're hard at work on their album!

Go the 1D fragrance way

Celebs from Justin Bieber to Taylor Swift have released fragrances, and now One Direction are joining in.

They'll be releasing a women's perfume for next summer, which will smell sweet and flowery according to Marie Claire.
A source said "One Direction are working on releasing a scent, it's all super secret right now. It's going to be a sweet scent, definitely floral too."
"All the other details are under lock and key, but it's due on shelves July 2013."
Mmm, sounds like it'll smell great!
